Accounting Duties Maintain daily financial records, invoices, and payments. Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation. Prepare payroll, HST, WSIB, and other statutory filings. Track project expenses and support cost control. Prepare monthly financial summaries and assist in budgeting. Purchase Management Duties Order Material from suppliers Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials and equipment. Create purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites. Maintain inventory records and verify goods received. Compare quotations to ensure quality and cost efficiency. Coordinate with site supervisors to plan material requirements. Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance. General Coordination Liaise between accounting, site teams, and vendors.
